ADASA SKLIUTAUSKAITE

Adasa Skliutauskaitė is a Lithuanian graphic artist who was born in 1931, Kaunas. She studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Vilnius Academy of Arts and graduated as a book illustrator in 1955. Skliutauskaitė has been participating in exhibitions since 1958 and is now best known for her colour lithography and particularly for her children's books illustrations. The artist has a unique style, her technique seems to merge graphic art and painting. Skliutauskaitė's works can be prescribed to modern art. She currently lives and works in Vilnius.
