The most memorable Jewish heritage sites in Lithuania

12 December, 2018

What Jewish heritage object would you show to a friend who came to Lithuania for the first time? What place would you show to your child as a symbol of Jewish culture and history?

A year ago our organization released a “100 Synagogues of Vilnius” map. It covers 135 locations of synagogues that were active in Vilnius until the Second World War, the locations were identified by scientists.

This year, we want you to remember places all over Lithuania and select your favorite one.

Send us a photo from the most memorable place with a short comment explaining why it must be included in the second version of the map. Each week we will share stories, unexpected facts about your proposed places or objects, then vote, and later select the most memorable places in Lithuania!

All photos should be sent to media@litvakworld.com
